Formspree has four self-serve plans: Free ($0 for 50 submissions a month), Personal ($15 a month, or $10 a month billed yearly, for 200), Professional ($30, or $20 billed yearly, for 2,000) and Business ($90, or $60 billed yearly, for 20,000). Above that, a Custom plan is priced through sales. Every plan has unlimited forms, so what decides your plan is how many submissions you get a month, then the features you need (checked October 2026 on Formspree's plans page).

Key takeaways

  • Formspree prices by monthly submissions, not by forms: every plan, Free included, has unlimited forms and projects.
  • Billing yearly takes a third off every paid plan: Personal is $120 a year instead of $180.
  • Webhooks, Zapier, the API and autoresponses start on Professional, at $30 a month or $20 a month billed yearly.
  • Past your monthly limit, Formspree keeps new submissions in an Over Limit folder without notifying you of each one, and you reprocess them once you have room.
  • Free keeps 30 days of submission history with no export; paid plans keep everything and export to CSV or JSON.

What each plan includes

Free: $0

50 submissions a month, unlimited forms, one team member, up to two linked notification addresses and 30 days of submission history. AJAX forms, reCAPTCHA, restricting a form to your domain and basic spam filtering are all included. There are no file uploads, no export and no search, and visitors land on Formspree's own thank-you page.

Personal: $15 a month ($10 billed yearly)

200 submissions a month and a permanent archive you can search and export as CSV or JSON. You get unlimited linked emails, several "To" addresses per form, your own thank-you page, 1 GB of file uploads, and productivity plugins such as Google Sheets, Airtable, Notion, Trello, GitHub, Linear and Asana. Still one team member, and no API or autoresponses.

Professional: $30 a month ($20 billed yearly)

2,000 submissions a month, two team members and 5 GB of uploads. This is the first plan with API access, autoresponses (a confirmation email to the person who filled in the form), advanced spam control and every premium plugin: CRMs, newsletter tools, support desks, Stripe, Zapier and webhooks.

Business: $90 a month ($60 billed yearly)

20,000 submissions a month, unlimited team members and 10 GB of uploads. It adds custom email templates, sending notifications from your own email domain, a rules engine, a custom honeypot, custom spam rules and priority support.

Custom

Unlimited submissions and file storage, phone support, a service level agreement, full-service onboarding and auto-verified emails, priced with Formspree's sales team.

Monthly or yearly: what a year costs

PlanBilled monthly, per yearBilled yearly
Personal$180$120
Professional$360$240
Business$1,080$720

Yearly billing saves a third on every paid plan. Know the refund rule before you commit: Formspree does not allow changes or refunds once a renewal date has passed, and reviews other cases one by one (cancellation and refund policy, checked October 2026). If you are still learning your volume, pay monthly for a cycle or two, then switch.

What happens when you go over the limit

Formspree emails you at 50%, 75% and 90% of your monthly limit, and again when you go over it (account limits, checked October 2026).

Past the limit, Formspree still saves new submissions, in an Over Limit folder. It does not send notification emails or run plugins for them, so nothing reaches your inbox, Slack or CRM until you act. In that folder you see previews only; search and export don't work there (over limit submissions, checked October 2026).

To read one in full, you reprocess it once you have room, after you upgrade or after your limit resets. A reprocessed submission counts toward that month's limit. Deleting one from the folder is permanent. The help article describes no overage charges: the choices it gives are upgrading or reprocessing fewer.

A separate limit applies on every plan: 20 posts a minute per form. Past it, an HTML form sends the visitor to an error page and a JavaScript submission gets a 429 response, which your code should show to the visitor (system limits, checked October 2026). If notifications stopped and you are not over the limit, see Formspree not sending email.

Free trial, refunds and legacy plans

Formspree offers a 14-day free trial of any one paid plan. You ask for it by contacting Formspree support, and you can ask for more time (free trials, checked October 2026).

If your plans page says "You're in a legacy plan", Formspree has kept you on an older plan with the features you had before. Choosing a current plan upgrades you at once (legacy plans). This is why older articles name plans and prices that don't match the table above.

Which Formspree plan fits

  • One contact form on a personal site: Free, as long as you stay under 50 a month and don't need history past 30 days. Keep the notification emails, since Free has no export.
  • A small business site, or a freelancer's few forms: Personal gives you 200 a month, a permanent archive, export and your own thank-you page.
  • Leads that go to a CRM, Zapier or your own code: Professional is the first plan with webhooks, Zapier and the API.
  • An agency or a team: Professional allows two team members; Business has unlimited team members, your own email domain and custom templates.

What the same volumes cost on OllieLeads

We make OllieLeads, a form backend, so read this section with that in mind. Free is 500 leads in total with no monthly reset and no card. Pro is $29 a month for 1,000 leads a month, and each extra 1,000 is $10 (OllieLeads pricing, checked October 2026). Only leads with an email address or phone number count; spam and test leads never do.

A monthFormspreeOllieLeads
50FreeFree (500 in total lasts 10 months)
200$15, or $10 billed yearlyFree for the first 500, then $29
2,000$30, or $20 billed yearly$39 ($29 plus one extra 1,000)
20,000$90, or $60 billed yearly$219 ($29 plus 19 extra 1,000s)

At high volume Formspree costs less, and it has file uploads and team seats, which OllieLeads doesn't. Where OllieLeads differs: its script saves the name, email and phone of visitors who leave a form halfway, on every plan, and a Pro workspace that reaches its spend cap ($50 a month to start, and yours to change) holds new leads until next month or until you raise the cap, so nothing is dropped. The 20,000 row assumes you raised the cap. The full side-by-side is on our Formspree alternative page.
